    Milkfish (Chanos chanos Forsskal ) is a fish that is often consumed by society and have high gizi. To find out components of fatty acids an analyse compounds countained  in head, body and tail  fresh milkfish  (Chanos chanos Forsskal ). This research aim to know composition of fat acid Fresh Bandeng Part Of Head, Body, And Tail. And to find out acid number value, peroxide number, and saponification number. Extraction is done with maceration method use n- Heksan solvent. analysed Compound chemistry component use gas chromathography. The results showed the yield of fat obtained by the head, body and tail of 3,48%; 3,07%; and 3,138%. Acid number of 39,94 mgKOH/g, 42,48 mgKOH/g and 45,32 mgKOH/g, peroxide number of 332,53 mek/kg, 219,15 mek/kg, and 216,62 mek/kg, saponification number of 146,48 mgKOH/g, 64,75 mgKOH/g, 112,73 mgKOH/g and identified squalane and cholesterol compounds in fresh milkfish (Chanos chanos Forsskal ).  Ikan bandeng (Chanos chanos Forsskal) merupakan ikan yang sering dikonsumsi   oleh   masyarakat   dan   memiliki   nilai   gizi   yang   tinggi.   Untuk mengetahui komponen asam lemak dilakukan analisis senyawa yang terkandung dalam kepala, badan dan ekor ikan bandeng. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui komposisi asam lemak ikan bandeng (Chanos chanos Forsskal) segar bagian kepala, badan dan ekor dan untuk mengetahui nilai bilangan asam, bilang peroksida dan bilangan penyabunan. Esktraksi dilakukan dengan metode maserasi menggunakan palarut n-Heksan. Komponen senyawa kimia yang dianalisis menggunakan Kromatografi Gas. Hasil penelitian menujukan  rendemen  lemak  yang  diperoleh  bagian  kepala,  badan  dan  ekor sebesar 3,48%; 3,07%; dan 3,138%. Bilangan asam sebesar 39,94 mgKOH/g, 42,48  mgKOH/g  dan  45,32  mgKOH/g,  bilangan  peroksida  sebesar  332,53 mek/kg, 219,15 mek/kg, dan 216,62 mek/kg, bilangan penyabunan sebesar 146,48 mgKOH/g, 64,75 mgKOH/g, 112,73 mgKOH/g dan teridentifikasi senyawa squalane dan cholesterol pada ikan bandeng (Chanos chanos Forsskal) segar

    Economic Analysis of Sustainable Admission Business in Development Area Tanete Riattang East Bone

    The results of this study aim to determine the pattern of business activities and application of pond cultivation technology and the level of feasibility per unit of pond land. Starting from January - July, 2020, in Tanete Riattang Timur District. The pond business patterns are grouped into milkfish monoculture (Chanos chanos fork), milkfish polyculture (Chanos chanos fork) and seaweed (Gracillaria verrucosa), milkfish (Chanos chanos fork) and shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) polycultures with narrow ( 5 hectares) scales. The results of the study show that almost all of the ponds in the Tanete Riattang Timur sub-district have entisol soil types. The soil texture is fine and coarse, the slope of the pond land is 1-9%. The appropriate distance for aquaculture is 50 – 500 meters from the river bank, water pH ranges from 7.5 – 8, salinity ranges from 15 – 29 ppt, water temperature ranges from 29 – 32 0C. GIS analysis of total pond area ±817.015 Ha. Respondents were 59 Fishery Households (RTP). The financial feasibility of monoculture milkfish (Chanos chanos fork) DF 12%, the highest is the NPV of Rp. 57,267,164. Net B/C ratio 1.77; IRR of 29.03%. The financial feasibility of milkfish (Chanos chanos fork)-shrimp polyculture where the highest DF 12% is the NPV of Rp. 88,857,765, Net B/C ratio of 2,099; IRR of 35.48%. The financial feasibility of polyculture of milkfish (Chanos chanos fork) seaweed (Gracillaria verrucosa) where the DF is 12% with the highest value, namely NPVRp. 90,665,055; Net B/C ratio of 2,099; IRR is 33.67%.     Pond cultivation is an effort to maintain and enlarge aquatic organisms in pond waters or ponds that are deliberately made by humans. This study aims to determine the pattern and scale of the milkfish enlargement business at the level of feasibility per unit of pond land. The research was conducted from January to July, 2020, in the Tanete Riattang Timur District, Bone Regency. Pond business patterns are grouped into three strata, namely monoculture milkfish (Chanos chanos fork), polyculture milkfish (Chanos chanos fork) and seaweed (Gracellaria verrucosa), polyculture milkfish (Chanos chanos fork) and shrimp with a narrow scale, medium and wide. Aquaculture business scale and pattern are analyzed by analyzing farmer income, R/C ratio analysis, Paybeack Period analysis, business feasibility analysis namely NVP analysis, IRR analysis and B/C Ratio analysis. The research results from a sample of Fisheries Households (RTP) Respondents. The highest financial feasibility of the milkfish (Chanos chanos fork). The financial feasibility of the milkfish (Chanos chanos fork) shrimp polyculture. The conclusion is that in general the ponds in Tanete Rianttang Timur District that are already operating are managed privately. The business feasibility category in East Tanete Riattang District is divided into two categories, namely very suitable and appropriate.     The Chanos chanos Forsk fish culture, at the present time has been growing and made important role in economic. This paper purposed to examine factors affected on the profit rate earned form Chanos chanos Forsk fish cultured, achievements of the short run profit maximization, and conducted resulted from the culture\u27s return to scale. The research was conducted in Palang Sub District Tuban District, South Java during July to September 2003. The area sample was selected by purposively and the respondent of fish farmer was selected by stratified random sampling. The result of study show that simultaneously the fish seed, feed seed, human labor, culture area wide and investment capitals were affected the profit earned for fish farmers with highly significant levels. Result was also indicate that the farms in location research were hardly provide the maximum profit and the return to scale was calculated to be increased. Considered with the phenomena\u27s, the development of Chanos chanos Forsk fish culture in Palang Sub District Tuban District, Shout Java suggested to be done by culture intensive method

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh ekstrak daun salam (Syzygium polyanthum) terhadap daya tetas telur ikan bandeng (Chanos chanos) yang diinfeksikan dengan jamur Saprolegnia sp. Penelitian ini dilakukan secara eksperimental menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan enam taraf perlakuan dan empat pengulangan. Perlakuan yang diberikan meliputi konsentrasi ekstrak daun salam dengan konsentrasi 0 (kontrol), 1, 5, 10, 15, dan 20 ppm. Hasil uji ANOVA menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak daun salam (Syzygium polyanthum) berpengaruh sangat nyata (P < 0,01) terhadap daya tetas telur ikan bandeng (Chanos chanos). Perlakuan 10 ppm menghasilkan nilai persentase penetasan tertinggi yaitu sebesar 83,75%.Kata kunci: Daya tetas, Chanos chanos, Syzygium polyanthum, Saprolegnia sp

    Ikan bandeng ( Chanos chanos ) merupakan ikan penting yang bernilai ekonomi. Ikan bandeng banyak dikonsumsi karena memiliki nilai gizi yang tinggi. Ikan bandeng juga digunakan sebagai umpan hidup untuk memancing. Dalam sistem budidaya ikan bandeng peningkatan produksi merupakan faktor yang sangat penting. Salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan produksi dalam sistem budidaya ikan adalah dengan menerapkan padat tebar yang tinggi. Kendala penerapan padat tebar yang tinggi menyebabkan pertumbuhan bandeng tidak merata, bahkan ada yang kerdil, yaitu kondisi ikan mengalami pertumbuhan yang lambat. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengamati kondisi jaringan bandeng dengan ikan tidak kerdil dan kerdil. Ikan bandeng ( Chanos chanos) yang digunakan adalah ikan yang sudah dipelihara selama 6 bulan. Organ ikan yang menjadi sampel observasi adalah ikan stunting dan non stunting. Organ yang diamati adalah insang, otot, dan usus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bandeng ( Chanos chanos ) yang mengalami stunting mempengaruhi kondisi insang, otot dan jaringan usus. Insang mengalami edema dan nekrosis.     Temperature and Salinity Effects on Bioaccumulation, Gill Structure, and Radiation Dose Estimation in the Milkfish Chanos chanos Exposed to 137Cs

    The present trend of global warming has led to an increase in seawater temperature and salinity. The effects of increasing salinity and temperature on the accumulation of 137Cs by milkfish Chanos chanos was studied under laboratory conditions to obtain information on Chanos chanos adaptability under environmental changes. The uptake of radioactive cesium by Chanos chanos increased with temperature of seawater. The concentration factors (CF) of 137Cs for temperatures of 25°C, 27°C, 29°C, and 31°C at steady state period were 5.25, 5.91, 6.78, and 9.98 mL g-1 for the whole-body of Chanos chanos. The concentration factors at steady state (CFss) of 137Cs for salinities of 26‰, 29‰, 32‰, and 35‰ were 6.23, 9.93, 9.24, and 6.86 mL g-1, respectively. After temperature exposure to 31°C, the fish gills showed hyperplasia of epithelial cells in branchial secondary lamellae, congestion of blood vessels, and hypertrophy of pillar cells. The fish from the treatment group exhibited hemorrhage between the branchial secondary lamellae and an abundance of mucous substance in comparison with control group. This study links radionuclide bioaccumulation data and monitoring data obtained in the field and laboratory experiment with radiation dose determined by ERICA Tools, an approach that will enable better linkages to be made between exposure and dose in Chanos chanos and its marine food web.Received: 2 November 2015; Revised: 1 July 2016; Accepted: 17 July 201

    Histological Observation Of Milkfish Organs With Stunting Phenomenon

    Milkfish (Chanos chanos) is an important economic fish. Milkfish is widely consumed because it has high nutritional value. Milkfish is also used as live bait for fishing. In the milkfish cultivation system, increasing production is a very important factor. One of the efforts to increase production in fish farming systems is the application of high stocking density. Constraints to the application of the high stocking density cause the growth of milkfish to be non-uniform, some of them even experience stunting, which is a condition in which the fish experience slow growth. This study aims to observe the condition of the milkfish tissue with normal growth and stunted fish. Milkfish (Chanos chanos) used are fish that have been reared for 6 months. Fish organs that were sampled for observation were stunted and normal (non-stunting) fish. The organs observed were the gills, muscles, and intestines. The results showed that stunted milkfish (Chanos chanos) affected the condition of the gill tissue, muscles, and intestines. The gills are edema and necrosis. Muscles undergo edema, degeneration of muscle fibers, and necrosis. Penelitian ini, bertujuan untuk mengamati kondisi jaringan ikan bandeng dengan pertumbuhan normal dan ikan yang mengalami stunting. Ikan Bandeng (Chanos chanos) yang digunakan adalah ikan yang telah dipelihara selama 6 bulan. Organ ikan yang menjadi sampel pengamatan adalah ikan yang mengalami stunting dan normal (non-stunting). Organ yang diamati adalah insang, otot, dan usus. Hasil penelitian menunjukan ikan Bandeng (Chanos chanos) yang mengalami stunting mempengaruhi kondisi jaringan insang, otot dan usus.
